If you're looking for the richest and most excellent education possible for your child, we encourage you to explore the option of a classical and Christian education.   This is the answer for many families who are looking for a Christ-centered education that will equip their children to think for themselves; to become all that God intends them to be; and to be leaders in their families, churches, and communities!

We invite you to come and see this education for yourself by visiting our campus! You will find our Grammar School students (grades Jr. K through 6) immersed in the richness of history and literature and learning the foundational facts of math, science, English grammar, and Latin.  Our Logic students (grades 7 and 8) will be learning to formulate a logical, well-reasoned argument and solving lots of problems in their various classes. Throughout the school, you will find that Christ is central and students view all that they are studying through the lens of Scripture.

Admissions Process

Runnels Academy uses an admissions procedure found at many other private schools and colleges.  We seek to enroll students from families who have clearly-expressed convictions that are similar to that of the school with regard to the education of children.

A student’s academic achievements will be considered in the application process, of course, but a student’s character and family priorities will also weigh heavily in determining acceptance.

All fees are non-refundable once a student has been accepted.  The financial agreement between the Academy and enrolled families is a year-long commitment, even if a student withdraws mid-year.

Runnels Academy admits students of any race, color, national, and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.  It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national, and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.

Financial Information for 2021-2022
  • Application Fees:  $25, due with application.

  • Curriculum Fees: These are one-time fees, to accompany the student application for curriculum purchase.  The fee is non-refundable at any time, unless acceptance is denied.

  • Registrations will be considered firm only when the entire curriculum fee is paid.

  • Tuitions:  Monthly tuition payments are due by the fifth working day of each month.  Typically, these payments are divided over ten (10) months, August through May. Payments may be mailed or hand-delivered to the school.

  • Full-year tuition for one student: $6,000.00

  • Multiple-student-per-family discount schedule:  25% discount for additional students per family.

  • Full-year payment discount: A 5% discount will be applied to tuition which is paid at the beginning of the year.

  • Full-time ministry discount: 10% (Call to determine eligibility.)

Admissions Checklist

  • Completed Application, $25 application fee

  • Non-refundable Curriculum Fee of $100 for Jr-K, $200 for Kindergarten, $300 for 1st-9th grades, $400 for 10th grade

  • Report cards from the most recent quarter and previous year, if applicable

  • Copy of any divorce/custody decision as it pertains to the applicant

  • If accepted, proof of immunization or a completed exemption form for same

  • Read Parent-Student Handbook
